The Pro V Elite Carbon 2 trapper, unlike the name suggests is quite different from the original Pro V Elite. The new glove is much more similar to the VE8 XP, and therefore 590 break gloves from all companies. The single T pocket differentiates it from the VE8 XP, while maintaining the same great “fingers up” glove feel.
External Material
The PVE2 trapper features classic synthetic leather on the outside of the glove for traditional durability and that classic made in Canada quality and a little callout for the Quickslide on the back of the T so that they can match your new pads.
Break Angle
The break angle of the Pro V Elite 2 is right around 60* and is very close to a 590 break from competitors. This break is more suitable for goalies that prefer the fingers up glove position, but is quite a versatile design, that can work for any goalie. The trapper also includes Shock Shield in the palm of the trapper to cut down on stingers and help with puck retention inside the pocket.
Pocket Design
Unlike the VE8 XP that the PVE2 Carbon is based on, the catcher uses a deep single T pocket that presents a large amount of lace to slow the puck down. The single T also provides a very snappy closure on the trapper right out of the box.
Strapping
The adjustable strapping on the Pro V Elite 2 Carbon lets you synch the glove down very tightly. With double backhand velcro, along with a traditional nylon wrist strap your hand will not be slipping out of the PVE2.
Cuff Design
The single cuff design of the Pro V Elite 2 Carb provides a large surface area for when those pucks don’t want to go right in the pocket. The low amount of flex the single piece cuff provides will help with puck deflection away from the goalie as well as providing a clean unbroken graphic on the face.

Our in store stock will consist of White, Wh/Sv/Bl, Wh/Rd/Bk, and Wh/Rd/Bu. The PVE2 is fully customizable and will be offered in colours to match any team when ordered custom.
