TRUE Catalyst 9X Pro Stock Senior Hockey Stick – Nick Bjugstad

This custom TRUE Catalyst 9X stick is a pro return from Arizona Coyotes (NHL) player Nick Bjugstad. The construction follows that of a standard Catalyst 9X, with a couple of custom features. 

The stick uses a square (A) geometry and a matte grip. A geometry is the standard square geometry you would find on a 9X stock stick, with traditionally rounded corners and slightly concave walls. The blade is a TC3, a highly aggressive curve similar to the P77 and infamous Crazy Ovi curves. It is very easy to raise the puck, but you lose some control in the process.

Bjugstad’s variation is 64 inches at 95 flex with a green colouration. The stick is labelled “BJUGSTAD” on the name bar.

Sticks in the TRUE pro stock collection are custom-modelled after specific NHL player specs and use a different graphic pattern than the 9X. Pro stock sticks do not have a warranty, but they are made tougher and sturdier than stock sticks to accommodate pro-level playstyles.
