The Bauer Vapor X2.7 hockey stick is flashy low kick stick that is one of the lightest in the industry at this price point. At 434 grams, the X2.7 is a terrific value that not only performs at a competitive level but has awesome graphics to boot. The weight reduction was achieved by reinforcing the perimeter of the blade to allow for lighter materials in the core. This reduced the overall weight of the stick without sacrificing performance or durability.
Stick Flex Profile
The X2.7 is built with QRT technology and features a true low kick flex profile. QRT is a carryover Vapor technology previously seen in higher price points that provides a dynamic quick release to get the puck off your blade as quick as possible.
Shaft Construction
The X2.7 is built with unidirectional carbon fiber and features Bauer’s Micro Feel II shaft dimensions. Essentially rounded corners and double concave side walls for a comfortable feel in your hands.
Blade Construction/Stiffness
MaxBalance blade technology creates a stiff blade feel standard with all Vapor low kick sticks. The stiff blade maximizes pop for the quickest release possible. The MaxBalance blade has a reinforced edge which reduced the weight of the core and improves balance. The core is Vapor’s Aero Foam I and the stiffness profile is Pure Shot (extra stiff.)
Graphics
The Vapor family went bold this season with lots of colour pops and bright highlights. The X2.7 is sure to catch your attention.
Grip
The X2.7 hockey stick has a clear tacky finish. The tackiness is standard with what we’ve seen from previous Vapor models.
