Bauer Supreme 2S Pro Senior Goalie Pants

The Bauer 2S Pro senior goalie pant, new for 2018 continues on with the success of the extremely light weight but pro level protection of the 1S Pro goalie pants they are replacing.

The Bauer 2S Pro senior goal pants are one of the first pants on the market to commit to the new NHL legal sizing. This rounds off the pant leg more than pants from the past and provides an even more tapered fit through the legs, which was something that the 1S Pro goalie pants were already known for. These newly shaped thighs also include Bauer’s new Powerlite material. This is a mix of EPP foam and Curv composite and provides exceptional protection, while reducing weight and increasing density compared to traditional HD foams.

Another protection feature of the Supreme 2S Pro SR goalie hockey pant is the PoronXRD that Bauer has placed in the groin flaps. This helps two ways. Poron is notoriously a material that absorbs a ton of impact, so it obviously helps out protection wise, but because of this energy retention the Poron also decreases the speed of the rebounds off the groin flaps as well.

Finally, the 2S Pro senior goalie pant features a couple great quality of life features. There is a 1″ extension on the pant that allows for a bit of extra growing room if the goalie needs a little bit of extra room but still needs the pro level protection that is provided. As well, the entire liner of the pant has both 37.5 as well as Sanitized technology. These materials help the pant stay nice and dry, as well as combating the growth of fungus and bacteria preventing smell that comes along with that.
